A more considered workbook review

A clearer view of
your workbook.

Financial models deserve evidence you can inspect. FinModelCheck checks saved formulas and values, then shows what merits a closer look.

Free checker pilot. Five prioritized Findings and a provisional saved-evidence score. Your browser workspace lasts at most 24 hours; there is no recovery after credential loss or ending the session.

The current scope

Start with what is saved.

Three narrow checks, with locations and reasons for review. Financial correctness and cache freshness remain outside these checks.

01 / FM003

Reference tokens

Find #REF! tokens in supported saved formulas. A guarded or inactive branch can contain a token without causing a current error.

02 / FM004

External links

Observe supported references to other workbooks and external-link metadata. Targets are never fetched; their business impact needs review.

03 / FM005

Saved errors

Inspect explicitly stored Excel error values. Formula caches can be missing or stale; those limits are shown in the report.

Evidence before confidence

A review aid, with clear boundaries.

A provisional saved-evidence score accompanies three focused checks. It does not establish financial correctness or overall model health. Excel is never recalculated or repaired.

Questions, answered.

What does FinModelCheck check?

The checker inspects saved XLSX evidence for broken reference tokens, external workbook links and saved Excel errors. Each Finding explains the observed location, evidence and what to review. It does not validate every financial relationship.

Does the checker recalculate Excel?

No. It inspects the workbook as saved and does not recalculate or repair Excel. Missing or unsupported evidence is shown as a coverage limitation, not a pass.

What does the score from 0 to 100 mean?

The provisional saved-evidence score uses deterministic, versioned Finding weights. It is a review aid and does not establish financial correctness or overall model health.

How can I read or save my report?

Read the report on the checker page or open it from your browser workspace history. The free preview shows up to five prioritized Findings. Additional Findings stay locked; payments are not connected yet. For a complete accessible report, choose Save as PDF and select that destination in your browser's print dialog.
